Nicholson was pleased to make a contribution towards a defibrillator for use by the community of a small South Cambridgeshire village.
Steeple Morden is a lively and busy village with a strong community spirit. The parish council recently highlighted the need for a village use defibrillator that could be kept in the village hall, a central hub in the community. The purchase was made and the defibrillator was installed. Training has been given to a number of local residents although the machine is designed to be able to be used by a person with no training or prior use of the equipment.
One of the Steeple Morden residents said,
“With a lot of sport played in the village and also a number of elderly members of the community, its great to know that vital life-saving equipment is near at hand should it be needed”
