St John’s Chapel
CASE STUDYIn 2017 The Nicholson AIRTRAK® EA150 and EA120 Eaves Ventilators were considered the best option for a renovation project in South Dakota, USA. This beautiful 30-year-old chapel and mausoleum building in a rural Lutheran cemetery underwent some extensive modernising and future proofing.
Resembling a 19th century American prairie church, this chapel has been built to last with exterior walls utilising pre-cast concrete panels simulating a wood cladding effect and traditional lead roof—a rarity in the States, being only the third of its kind.
AIRTRAK® Roof Void Ventilators products provide architects, specifiers and contractors with a proprietary system for achieving ventilation in a wide range of conditions in new and refurbishment projects.
Nicholson, the manufacturers, also have the capability to design and supply bespoke and one-off details should the standard products not suit the roof construction.
