Sainsbury’s distribution centre, Ham Hall, in Birmingham is set to have the second largest solar PV array in the UK.
The busy Sainsbury’s depot has had some 9000 solar PV panels installed atop the Kingspan roof. Nicholson’s Rooftrak products have been selected to deal with entry points for the numerous cables. Obviously, protection against water ingress was absolutely critical as was the longevity of the detail. The Rooftrak-MSUs provided a long-term solution as well as ensuring maximum protection.
